Weathered. Transformed. Radiant.
I'm on a mission to create art that reveals the beauty of a life fully lived… with no regrets.
Meet Nancy
I’m drawn to surfaces that time has reshaped — old gates, rail cars, dumpsters that have been in conversation with sun, salt air and weather. I recognize myself in them, because I've weathered my own elements too. I've come to understand that being layered and marked by a life fully lived, doesn't diminish me, it deepens me. This is what my work is really about. Not about rust or decay, but it’s an invitation — to look at your own weathered places, and finally see them as beautiful, rather than something to hide. I photograph transformation because I've lived it, and I believe, with my whole heart, that the marks we carry are evidence of how deeply we've dared to live.
What you see here is not a painting. It is a photograph — macro images of rust, patina, and the marks left by time and weather.
Surfaces that were broken open. Reshaped. Made more beautiful by everything they survived.

I'm in my early 30's and recently purchased my first piece of art from Nancy, called Pink Sovereignty. I have it hanging over my bed, and every night when I go to bed, I feel such joy when I look at it!

I met Nancy at a gallery in Boston. Her work from Whistler gave me this feeling of looking deep into a forest. It was so peaceful and calm, and it was then,I just knew that I needed to have this piece in my home.

I found Nancy's rust work on my Instagram feed. I loved how she kept sharing about her life as a nomad and her art came from so many places. I purchased one of her smaller pieces, and I just LOVE it!
